Joseph McKelheer – Head of Production

Joseph McKelheer has been producing films, branded content, and live webcasts across the country for the past ten years. He co-produced Barely Lethal starring Samuel L. Jackson, Hailee Stanfield, and Jessica Alba, and also co-produced The Adderall Diaries featuring James Franco, Christian Slater, and Ed Harris. He executive produced and starred in Godspeed, “One of the best Indie Films of the year (Film Threat)” and winner of the Jury Award at the 2009 CineVegas Film Festival and recently finished the first season of We Got Next, one of Hulu’s premiere shows. McKelheer was the writer/producer on the film, The Hammer, “A hidden gem” by the Los Angeles Times, based on the life of Deaf UFC fighter, Matt Hamill. The film premiered at AFI Fest and won The Breakthrough Audience Award. The film went on to win seven more high profile film festival awards. He went on to produce Free Samples, with Academy Award Nominated Jesse Eisenberg, Jason Ritter and Golden Globe winner Tippi Hedren, and cinematographer, Reed Morano, recipient of the Kodak Vision Award. McKelheer also produced the international production; The Thompsons, a sequel to cult classic, The Hamiltons for Lionsgate and Imagination Worldwide. Some how McKelheer, got married and has been blessed with two amazing sons.

Oren Kaplan – Director

Oren’s comedic sensibilities and strong sense of narrative storytelling led him to branded content and commercial directing. He has directed campaigns for brands including FIAT, FORD, MICROSOFT, MATTEL, and QUIZNOS, where he also served as a creative director. His QUIZNOS campaign videos have won two Telly Awards, an IAC award, and thrice landed on Ad Week’s Top 10 Spots list. Oren just finished up a campaign with 20th CENTURY FOX the upcoming Maze Runner sequel, The Scorch Trials, that was seen over 3 million times the week it was launched and was written up in over 300 national media publications.

Oren Kaplan’s directorial feature debut, THE HAMMER, premiered at the 2010 AFI Film Festival, winning the Breakthrough Film Award and a theatrical distribution deal. The movie was based on the life of UFC Fighter Matt Hamill and featured a cast of primarily Deaf actors. It went on to win seven consecutive audience awards before it’s national release on over 120 screens. On Netflix, it was the 2nd highest rated sports film of all time. When he’s not directing, Oren is also an accomplished and award-winning Visual Effects Artist.

Charisse Manzi – Executive Producer

Charisse always knew she wanted to be a storyteller. After graduating from Fordham University with a degree in Journalism she immediately delved into the world of docu-series in New York producing content for networks like Discovery, BIO, Oxygen, and OWN. She continues to be drawn to people and stories that need a more powerful voice. Stories that are important to share.

She eventually made the move to Los Angeles, co-founding Marcel Wepper, Inc. – a branded entertainment company focusing on fashion and beauty clients like Elle, Benefit Cosmetics and Kate Spade. In 2015 she helped create the branded entertainment division at Windowseat Pictures – Bureau 15 – producing content for the company while overseeing its day-to-day operations. There she’s produced several award winning videos, many of which have garnered over a million views.
